We can accommodate some disabilites, we do ask that you have 'water confidence' and are reasonably mobile. If you have a specific requirement, we would be pleased to discuss how we can help.

You receive a minimum 2 days tuition from a qualified RYA accredited trainer at our clubhouse which will enable you to pass the course, you will also receive a
RYA Sailing Handbook, RYA Logbook and relevant RYA certificate recognising your achievement. With free use of our buoyancy aids you will need very little else to come on the course.

Our newly refurbished clubhouse has changing facilities with hot showers and a social area where you can relax and have lunch with the other course members.

RYA qualifications are recognised worldwide and we would suggest that you start with a RYA level 2 if you would like to race at a local club.

Whichever course you choose, there will be a
balance between the theoretical elements and the very practical nature of the sport.

All courses emphasise safety whilst teaching the fundamentals relevant to the course, boat handling and seamanship skills. Of course, it goes without saying that we also work on making the activities fun and rewarding.
